Multi-functional communications with NaviDrive

The sophisticated NaviDrive telematics system is especially designed to bring stress-free navigation and communications to the C5 executive driver. Housed in one fully integrated unit that conveniently sits close at hand within the C5’s stylish dashboard, NaviDrive features a generous 16:9 full-colour multi-functional screen for clear and legible displays.

The advanced NaviDrive technology incorporates a navigation system, dual band GSM telephone, address book and RDS radio/CD player. The system can either be operated via steeringwheel mounted finger-tip controls or be voice activated for the ultimate in ‘hands free’ functionality. In addition, the unit features dedicated buttons for automatically dialling emergency services or Citroën Assistance in the unlikely event of recovery services being needed.

Mapping display

Ditch that tatty old road atlas and forget the multitude of road maps that spill from the glovebox every time it’s opened.

With the NaviDrive system you’ll no longer have to grab at quick look at a paper map when stopped at traffic lights because the map-based system replaces all your road maps at a stroke.

Covering the whole of the UK, you can even zoom in to identify hotels, restaurants, service stations, tourist sites and even car parks in the locality. And the integrated communications system means you can even book your room for the night and arrange for a top-notch meal beforehand in a nearby restaurant before you’ve even got out of your C5.

Route finding display

Never again need you arrive late and stressed-out for an appointment because you’ve missed a turning on the way. And you won’t have to spend time meticulously planning out a route in advance either, because the NaviDrive system will find the way for you, monitor your progress and give you directions as you go along.

Simply select your destination and NaviDrive will do the rest. You can even save a destination address in the directory, with associated contact telephone number, for future trips and ease of communications.

Telephony display

Staying in touch at all times is a necessity for many and now with NaviDrive’s advanced telematics, you can do it in complete safety and stay on the right side of the law. Using advanced voice-activation and voice synthesis technology you can call a pre-set telephone number from your directory and even listen to incoming text messages with your hands on the wheel and your eyes firmly on the road ahead.

Your pre-programmable address book can hold up to 400 together with the option of adding notes so not only can you include all your relevant business contacts, there’s lots of room for personal contact details too. So now there’s no excuse for being incommunicado with the ultimate in‘hands-free’ communications technology at your disposal.
