How long does an MOT test take?

The MOT test will normally take between 45 minutes to an hour.

Can I wait for the MOT check to be completed?

Of course. We have a customer waiting area where you are able to help yourself to tea or coffee and take advantage of our free Wi-Fi.

Do you offer collection and delivery for MOT customers?

Yes, we are currently able to offer collection and delivery to customers within a 15 mile radius. This is subject to availability and on a first come, first served basis. Please contact us to check availability.

What happens if my vehicle fails the MOT test?

LMC Express Fit offers a free retest providing it is within 10 days of the original MOT date. This allows you 10 days to get any necessary work done before we retest. We will explain why your vehicle failed the MOT and provide you with a no-obligation quote to remedy the work here at LMC Express Fit.

If you are happy with the quote you receive and would like us to go ahead with the work, we will endeavour to get it completed that same day. Please note, this will depend on the work needed and our availability.

When is my MOT due?

My MOT has run out today, what can I do?

Please check our availability here. We will help as best we can with last minute bookings, but it is subject to availability. If availability is not showing, please contact us on 01420 478844 and if we can fit you in, we will.

What do I need to bring with me?

The only thing you’ll need to bring is your vehicle as our MOT testers will be able to look-up your vehicle on the DVSA system to find current details, as well as date the new MOT certificate 12 months from the current date.
